One person, not a chain
Puerto Feliz is run by one person. You can see it in what is on the shelves, and in who is standing behind the counter.
My name is Dominik. I am from Poland and have lived in Tenerife for several years. I fell for this island because of the way the mountain meets the ocean — and because you can surf here all year round.
In August 2025 I took over from the previous owners, an Argentinian couple who ran the place for around twelve years. They built something exceptional: a tea house with a vast selection of loose-leaf teas and its own blends, known among regulars across the region.
My job was not to spoil what already worked. The teas stayed, including the blends our customers have been loyal to for years. And I added what I know and love: baking. I have cooked and baked for a long time — first for friends, and now for our customers too.
Before this Canarian chapter I spent over twenty years at an international construction company, running large organisations. Today my life is local: flavour, and talking to people every day.
